Paddy Procurement Goes e-way in Pkd
PALAKKAD: The Supplyco has begun issuing electronic paddy procurement receipts to farmers while procuring first crop paddy in the district. Supplyco paddy marketing officer S Sreekumar said that so far 400 tonnes of paddy has been procured in the district. Since the procurement of paddy in the state began only on September 19, currently there are some teething problems. Paddy has been procured from the taluks of Chittur, Palakkad and Alathur.
